    Repost from last week.

See that Ribbon at the top of my right side bar?  Caring.com has dontated $10 to the Alzheimer's Association.  Just because I put it there.

My father died with Alzheimer's Disease. He was 65 years old.  So did one of this brothers. So did their father and two of his siblings and their mother.

Although we don't have the official diagnosis yet, it looks like my mom has Alzheimer's Disease as well.

Have you been touched by Alzheimer's Disease?

Add one of those ribbons to your blog and they'll donate another $10.  Just because you put it there. You can even personalize it with the name of a loved one if you like.  Then you tell your readers and so on and so on....

Bloggers doing something that simple to help the Alzheimer's Association?

    Works for me!

Thanks for the ribbon and the reminder. Alzheimer's is a very painful way to lose a loved one. I'll pray for you and your mom. I lost my grandparents to it.

I now have my elderly MIL living with us, who had dementia.I'll post on it as well.

Well, I hadn't planned on crying for my grandmother first thing this morning. Thank you for the reminder and a way to help.

Thanks for passing this on, it is so easy and a great cause.
    I love your banner!

I added a ribbon on my blog....in honor of my dad who died from Alzheimer's 12 years ago. My mom is now showing signs of it, but like you said has not yet been diagnosed.

my sister has set up an appt w/ our mom's dr to look into the diagnosis. it sucks.
