Hi Carol, I liked this post, I like all of them but this one is especial, not that I am a musician or know anything about instruments but I enjoyed it :)
    Thank you

Great! Now I'm scared to play bass and be smited.

Conchita & Susan Helene: Wish I could take credit. Wish I could thank the author for the grins.

Mr. ND: Yeah, me, too. I'll just have to learn to hold myself back a bit.

Oh the humanity and humility and humor. Funny stuff about the trials and tribulations, not to mention the lack of much needed respect, of the bass player.

I really got caught up in this one and I know nothing about musical instruments. Anyway, I snickered the whole time. Creativity at its best! Thanks.

Whatever it is called, I tried, desperately to play - Pink Floyds - One of These Days, that is one of the coolest base lines, I have ever heard, good lord up in the sky.. the tweaks, the tricks and the mix are way beyond me.. and I couldn't figure out even how to strum it in a...Im a beginner sort of way.. so I grabbed my pencil and started to draw again..

Thanks, everyone. I enjoyed this one, too. Wish I knew who wrote it. Someone sent it to me in an email way back.

Susie: Drawing is great. I dabble in a bit of it myself, albeit very badly. It seems like I get better as I go along, though. (The c'toon in this post is one of my first that I just re-vamped.) Maybe it'll be that way for you on guitar - the more you work at it, the better it'll get. I think they call it...uh...something with a 'P'. Oh, yeah - practice!

I didn't realize you did that drawing..rock on you bass guitarist you! I know..practice..schmactice, I had my spousal unit breathing down my neck, and well.. it was gettin' a little warm!
